Cayce's Patrol Division

The patrol officer at the Cayce Department of Public Safety (PSO) is the most visible member of this department and is assigned a marked patrol vehicle.  The patrol units are comprised of four shifts.  Each PSO is assigned a property of primary concern.  The officer's duty is to conduct law enforcement activities in the target areas in an effort to improve neighborhood quality.  The target areas are determined by citizen information provided to the department.  This may include such complaints of drug sales, loitering and loud music.

Cayce is also staffed with K-9 units.  The K-9 units are on call and make numerous public appearances.
