Captain Darwin Fulwood joined the City of "Cayce Department of Public Safety" as a Patrol Officer in September of 1989.  Four years later, he was promoted to Shift Sergeant in the agency's Uniform Traffic Division.  In September of 1998, Fulwood was promoted to the position of Lieutenant of the Uniform Traffic Division's Team Two.  One year later, he was transferred to the position of Lieutenant of the agency's Investigative Division.

        In March of 2001, Darwin Fulwood was again promoted, this time to the position of Captain.  In his current role, Captain Fulwood is responsible for handling internal investigations and citizen complaints.  He also coordinates activities between the agency's Uniform Traffic Division, Court Records office, Investigations Division and Fire Department, and is Project Director for all Public Safety grants.
